I thought I might come here to make a little VRC rugby update or a reminder as the title says. we all know rugby is currently on hold, and so is pretty much the entire world. we are all aware some of our teammates traveled here for rugby, and some of our teammates stayed here because of rugby, specifically for VRC.
I think I can speak for others when I say, we have found solace, Camaraderie, and a sense of family at the Vancouver Rowing Club Rugby Football team, and so with that being said, though we are divided I want to remind you that we are still a family, check up on your teammates, send a message to someone who you only shot the sh*t with at culture, check in on our alumni- reach out to those who paved the way for us. If you’re able, lend support to those who have supported you. For many, our little red and white team is the only family they have in this big city. Be kind, and stay safe fam.
A reminder to keep smiling, no matter how tough things get.
