VRC Rugby was founded in 1908 and is the oldest rugby club in Vancouver. The program has produced Rugby Canada captains, MLR players, and local champions across more than a hundred seasons.
Alumni have become club legends, household names inside the clubhouse, and the people who built the next generation of Rowers. Match-day battles, epic tours, the kind of evenings that end at Coal Harbour with someone's party trick clearing the patio: the club keeps a hold on people.
VRC Rugby did not stop being your club the day you hung up the boots. The clubhouse on Coal Harbour is still open, most of the teammates you used to run out with are still in there on a Saturday, and Brockton is still the best pitch you ever played on.
The club's job is to keep giving alumni reasons to show up. Tours, reunion matches, dinners, priority at Brockton on a big game day, a patio that earns its reputation. The Rowers who played for this club never really stopped being in it.

The Rowers tour, and the Rowers host touring sides. Alumni games happen every season. If you want to be on a plane, on the pitch, or pouring beers in the clubhouse for a visiting side, say so.
Your playing years put you in a network that runs across Vancouver and every city the Rowers have toured through. Clubhouse drinks, dinners, reunions: the club keeps the people you played with in one place.
Kit, coaching, youth development, travel. Alumni giving has kept the program going through more than a hundred seasons, and it does not go unnoticed.
